Repair a bad requirements section

Problem

This is section 3.2 ("Moderation") of StudyBuddy's first SRS draft:

  1. The system should be able to handle inappropriate posts appropriately.
  2. Posts will be hidden when reported.
  3. TAs and instructors and admins can delete, edit, hide and restore posts.
  4. The moderation queue must be fast.
  5. Students who post bad content will be punished.
  6. Deleted posts are kept forever for legal reasons.
  7. Deleted posts are removed from the database within 30 days.
  8. The system shall use a machine-learning model to detect toxic posts with 100% accuracy.

Tasks:

  1. For each requirement, name the qualities it violates (necessary, unambiguous, complete, consistent, feasible, verifiable, traceable, singular).
  2. Rewrite the section as 6–10 requirements using EARS templates, with IDs, measurable values and a source column (invent plausible sources: interviews, policies).
  3. List three questions you must ask stakeholders because the draft does not let you decide.
